Small update, for interneting is mighty scarce these days (crappy neighbors and their lousy wireless connections!)
Back in Richmond for the summer.  Back in my pepto pink pink PINK bedroom.  It’s always so weird returning home once you’ve been gone for so long.  This place is familiar, but in a strange, slightly unsettling way.  Not unlike the way you are familiar to yourself when you see old photos or videos and yet…  Unrecognizable.  Or unrelatable.  Something like that.  I think I’ve already moved too far past this place and beyond the person I could have become had I stayed that it’s too late.  This old town has nothing left to offer.
And so these next three months become a bother to be endured until August 20th rolls around and I can return to Bloomington, school, my life and my future.
Stranded in a town I hate.  Shiatzu.
BUT!  I’m determined to make the most of this summer!  It is my favourite season, after all, and I refuse to let it go to waste simply because I’m having a bad attitude about where I’m spending it.
My incredibly unambitious summer goals include spending it with people I like, unlimited bombpops, plenty of video gaming.  More books would be nice.  Eventually a tan, it’ll come with the territory.  I’ll have to work on getting a job.  Maybe two.  Blech.  AND MY driver’s license for Pete’s sake.  Looking at a car I can’t drive everyday is the pits!
